Program for healthcare professionals set for April 17 in Gibson City

GIBSON CITY — A program for healthcare professionals entitled “It’s in Every One of Us” will be held Wednesday, April 17, at the Moyer District Library in Gibson City.

The program, sponsored by Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services, is offered at two different times: 7:30-9 a.m. and 3:30-5 p.m.

The speaker is Faith Roberts, a nurse of 33 years who is currently coordinator of the Community Parish Nurse Program at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She speaks across the U.S. and Canada on topics close to every healthcare professional’s heart. She has spoken numerous times at all three Mayo clinics and has given more than 1,800 presentations on the state, national and international level.
