Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley varsity girls’ basketball coach Nick Elder has resigned from his post after accepting an educational administrative position in Champaign.
Elder led the Lady Falcons to a 36-21 record in his two years at the helm, including a 19-10 showing this past season. Prior to that, he served as an assistant for the boys’ basketball program.
