The Paxton-Buckley-Loda eighth-grade girls’ track and field team took second place at the Class AA Paxton Sectional meet on Saturday, advancing to state in six events in the process.

PBL finished with 66.33 points, second only to champion Danville North Ridge’s 79 points. Leading the charge for the Panthers was standout Kellyn Maynard, who will move on to state in four events.
