Unit Coordinator

Full time salaried, exempt position which will require more than 40 and potentially irregular hours weekly. Must have current RN licensure, BSN or MSN preferred. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the overall operation of the Clinical Department and assists the Executive Director of Nursing in accomplishing the division of nursing objectives. In addition, the coordinator will be responsible to oversee in-house cardiology diagnostic procedures. The Clinical Coordinator has 24 hour responsibility and accountability for all patient care activities, unit operation, and staff function.

Police Services Representative

The Rantoul Police Department is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Police Services Representative (PSR). Under general direction, this employee receives and makes phone calls, assists other law enforcement and governmental agencies, and transfers calls for service to METCAD dispatch as appropriate. They will monitor Police Radio frequency and respond to Police Officer requests for information and assistance according to established procedures. In addition, they perform data entry into several computer databases.

This position requires knowledge, skill, and intellectual development equivalent to the completion of four years of high school. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of police and fire policies, procedures, and terminology. In addition, they should have a working knowledge of police records systems, radio and phone equipment, and computer terminal operation and application.

The annual starting salary is $39,375+, dependent on qualifications, plus a competitive benefits package. Residency within twenty miles of the Village's corporate limits within six months of completing the six month probationary period is required.
