Master Gardeners judge planters in downtown Gibson City

GIBSON CITY — Janet Townsend and several other Master Gardeners recently chose first-, second- and third-place winners for the planters planted in downtown Gibson City.

In first place was Teresa McRae at Speakeasy Salon. The second-place winner was Chuck Marx at Anderson Ford. In third place were Jim and Amy Hood at Hood’s Ace Hardware.

The winners are able to direct Gibson Bucks gift certificates donated by the City of Gibson to a non-profit organization of their choice.
