Paxton aldermen to discuss fees, permitting for solar-energy projects

PAXTON — Among items listed on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Paxton City Council is a discussion about an ordinance regarding fees and permitting for solar-energy projects within city limits.

Also on the agenda for the meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 145 S. Market St.:

➜ The possible approval of a donation to the Paxton Area Chamber of Commerce for September’s annual Paxton Swine ‘N’ Dine BBQ Contest & Festival.

➜ The possible approval of an automatic clearinghouse (ACH) service agreement with The Frederick Community Bank in Paxton.

➜ The presentation of a motor-fuel tax compliance review.

➜ A discussion regarding possible changes to a contract with Central Illinois Disposal & Recycling.

➜ Consideration of recommendations for approval and payment of redevelopment costs pursuant to redevelopment agreements.

➜ Concurrence with Mayor Bill Ingold’s appointment of a person to the Paxton Carnegie Library board.
