Ford-Iroquois Extension office moving next week

ONARGA — The University of Illinois Extension office serving Ford and Iroquois counties is moving to a new location in Onarga next week.

The Extension office in Onarga will be closed Monday, July 29, and Tuesday, July 30, and will re-open at its new location at 916 W. Seminary Ave. in Onarga — the former Bork Nurseries building — on Thursday, Aug. 1, a news release said.

“During our transition, we are hoping for a minimal disruption to service, and we appreciate everyone’s patience,” the release said.

With the new location, there will be new Extension programs, along with “the same dedication to 4-H and existing programs available to Ford and Iroquois residents,” the release said.

Business hours will remain 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
