Illinois comptroller to speak at Republican Lincoln Day Dinner

GIBSON CITY — Illinois State Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka will be the featured speaker at the Ford County Republican Lincoln Day Dinner, scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 7, at the Kruse Center in Gibson City. 

Topinka , who served as state treasurer from 1995 to 2007, was the first woman elected to the post and was the first to serve three consecutive terms in the office.

The evening kicks off with a reception and social hour at 5:15 p.m., followed by dinner at 6.
