PAXTON — The Paxton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Bucks program started in late November.
Chamber Bucks are gift certificates that can be redeemed at participating chamber-member businesses.
“This is a great way to keep money locally,” the chamber’s December newsletter said.
Chamber Bucks that are redeemed at businesses are to be returned to the chamber’s Craig and Janet Loschen, who are serving as administrators of the program. They can be dropped off at their office at FlipSwitch Consulting, located in the Marshall Building, or at Hudson Drug & Hallmark Shop during business hours. Businesses are asked to include the name of the business on the gift certificates so the chamber knows which business to reimburse.
The Chamber Bucks program is part of the chamber’s “Live Local, Be Local, Buy Local” advertising campaign. For more information about the program, call the chamber at 379-4655 or email email@example.com.
