Ford County Sheriff's Office police blotter (Nov. 14, 2012)

PAXTON — The Ford County Sheriff’s Office released the following list of activity for the week of Nov. 4-10:

Complaints reported
— On Nov. 4, a deputy responded to a commercial burglar alarm at a Piper City bank.

— On Nov. 6, a deputy responded to a commercial burglar alarm at a Melvin bank.

— On Nov. 6, a deputy responded to a residential burglar alarm in rural Paxton.

— On Nov. 10, a deputy responded to a residential burglar alarm in rural Paxton.

Traffic tickets/civil matters
— During the week, deputies handled six civil matters and issued seven traffic citations.

Traffic accidents
— On Nov. 5, a vehicle driven by Nicholas Bauer of Cissna Park struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Evan Seggenbruch of rural Onarga
at the intersection of Illinois 9 and 2600 East Road, about 3 miles west of Rankin.

— On Nov. 6, Carol Kurtenbach struck a whitetail deer at 1725 E. 100 North Road, about 2 miles south of Paxton.

— On Nov. 8, Manuela Medina of Forrest struck a whitetail deer at 1040 N. Illinois 47, about 4 miles north of Gibson City.

Arrests
— On Nov. 7, David Crim of Melvin was arrested for a Ford County warrant.

— On Nov. 9, August Crowley of Thawville was arrested following a traffic stop on 500 North Road in rural Paxton.  He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of cannabis (under 30 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
