Iroquois County Sheriff's Office police blotter (Jan. 3, 2013)

WATSEKA — The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Office has released the following list of recent activity:

— Donald J. Barnhart, 35, of rural Donovan, was arrested Jan. 1 for domestic battery after allegedly becoming involved in a physical altercation with his girlfriend.

— Eric Gregory, 40, of Watseka, turned himself in at the county jail on Jan. 2. Gregory was sentenced to serve three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for aggravated driving under the influence.

— Garrett Coffey, 28, turned himself in at the county jail on Jan. 2. Coffey was sentenced to serve 18 months in the Illinois Department of Corrections for driving with a revoked license.

— Zachary Weakley, 24, of Onarga, was arrested by Gilman police on Jan. 1 on a McLean County warrant for failure to appear in court on the charge of unlawful possession of cannabis (10-30 grams).

— No injuries were reported and no citations were issued following a single-vehicle accident Jan. 1 in rural Sheldon. The accident occurred when Ian B. Anderson, 17, of Milford, was traveling south on County Road 2820 East near U.S. 24. Anderson’s vehicle began to slide on the ice-covered road and entered a roadside ditch, where it overturned before coming to a rest on its roof. Damage to his vehicle was estimated at more than $1,500.
