Iroquois County Sheriff's Office police blotter (Jan. 9, 2013)

WATSEKA — The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Office has released the following list of recent activity:

— Donald J. Barnhart, 35, of rural Donovan, was arrested Jan. 1 for domestic battery after allegedly becoming involved in an altercation with his girlfriend.

— Eric Gregory, 40, of Watseka, turned himself in at the county jail on Jan. 2. Gregory was sentenced to serve three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for aggravated driving under the influence.

— Garrett Coffey, 28, turned himself in at the county jail on Jan. 2. Coffey was sentenced to serve 18 months in the Illinois Department of Corrections for driving with a revoked license.

— Zachary Weakley, 24, of Onarga, was arrested by Gilman police on Jan. 1 on a McLean County warrant for failure to appear in court on the charge of unlawful possession of cannabis (10-30 grams).

— Branden S. Bennett, 33, of Onarga, turned himself in at the county jail on Jan. 5. Bennett was wanted for driving with a revoked license; he was sentenced to weekends in jail.

— Daniel C. Outlaw, 18, of Onarga, was arrested Jan. 6 for aggravated battery.

— No injuries were reported and no citations were issued following a single-vehicle accident Jan. 1 in rural Sheldon. The accident occurred when Ian B. Anderson, 17, of Milford, was traveling south on County Road 2820 East near U.S. 24. Anderson’s vehicle began to slide on the ice-covered road and entered a roadside ditch, where it overturned before coming to a rest on its roof.

— Ray Anderson, 48, of Watseka, was taken to Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee following a single-vehicle accident Jan. 7 on County Road 2400 North near Illinois 1. Anderson was eastbound on 2400 North, about a mile east of Illinois 1, when his vehicle skidded out of control and left the road. The vehicle entered a field and overturned, coming to a rest on its top. No citations were issued.

— Brenden N. Noel, 20, of Danforth, was arrested Jan. 4 for predatory criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual abuse and criminal sexual abuse.
