Iroquois County Sheriff's Office police blotter (Jan. 11, 2013)

WATSEKA — The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Office released the following list of recent activity:

— Patrick Leuck, 50, of Gilman, was arrested Jan. 8 for criminal trespass to real property.

— A 14-year-old from Onarga was arrested Jan. 9 for aggravated battery following an altercation with staff at the Onarga Academy.

— Joshua Nolan, 21, of Rantoul, was arrested Jan. 9 on an Iroquois County warrant for failure to appear in court on the charge of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

— No injuries were reported and no tickets were issued following a single-vehicle accident Jan. 9 on Blue Bell Bend Road, just south of Watseka. The accident occurred when Joshua D. Ellis, 18, of Watseka, was driving south on Blue Bell Bend Road and failed to negotiate a curve in the road. His vehicle slid out of control on the snow- and ice-covered road and entered a roadside ditch, where it struck at least two trees, causing more than $500 in damages.
