Ford County Sheriff's Office police blotter (Jan. 28, 2013)

PAXTON — The Ford County Sheriff’s Office released the following list of activity for the week of Jan. 20-26:

— On Jan. 22, Daniel Breeden of Melvin was arrested on a Ford County warrant.

— On Jan. 22, Richard Miller of Piper City was arrested on a Ford County warrant.

— On Jan. 20, a commercial burglar alarm was reported in Melvin.  The alarm was due to an employee error.

— On Jan. 21, a deputy assisted SELCAS Ambulance Service with a medical call in Piper City.

— On Jan. 21, a residential burglar alarm was reported in rural Paxton. The residence was secure when the deputy arrived.

— On Jan. 21, a deputy responded to a disabled vehicle on the road in rural Elliott.

— On Jan. 23, a deputy responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in rural Paxton.

— On Jan. 23, a Roberts resident reported an attempted mail scam.

— On Jan. 23, the Ford County animal control officer handled a complaint of two dogs running at large in Clarence. The dogs were taken to the Paxton Veterinary Clinic pending notification of owner.

— On Jan. 24, deputies assisted with a disabled vehicle in rural Melvin.
