Iroquois County Sheriff's Office police blotter (Feb. 20, 2013)

WATSEKA — The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Office released the following list of recent activity:

— David L. Brown, 55, of rural Ashkum, was arrested Feb. 15 for aggravated battery to a police officer, aggravated fleeing and eluding police, resisting a peace officer, violation of bail bond, reckless conduct and a violation of an order of protection. The charges stemmed from Brown violating an order of protection when deputies
stopped him in his 2011 Chevrolet Silverado and he refused to exit the vehicle. When police entered the truck in attempts to place it in park and remove Brown, he accelerated with the officer halfway in the vehicle. The officer was able to overtake Brown and steer the truck into a ditch, where he was able to place the truck in park. Police were finally able to remove Brown from his truck and place him under arrest.

— Craig S. Sharp, 47, of Sheldon, was arrested Feb. 16 for aggravated battery of a police officer and resisting a peace officer after police were called to a residence in Iroquois County where Sharp was allegedly causing problems. After several attempts to get Sharp to leave, he became aggressive with the officer and was eventually arrested after a short altercation.

— Juanita A. Woods, 52, of Loda, was arrested Feb. 4 on an Iroquois County writ of body attachment for a civil case.

— Seth J. Gredy, 27, of Hoopeston, was arrested Feb. 3 on a Vermilion County warrant for failure to appear in court for displaying a fictitious insurance card and operation of an uninsured vehicle.
