Iroquois County Sheriff's Office police blotter (Feb. 27, 2013)

WATSEKA — The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Office released the following list of recent activity:

— Bradley J. English, 18, of Goodland, Ind.; Jacob A. Deason, 18, of West Lafayette, Ind.; and two 17-year-olds from Fowler, Ind. were arrested Feb. 22 for criminal trespass to property and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

— Craig A. LaBounty, 52, of Wellington, was arrested Feb. 22 on an Iroquois County writ of body attachment.

— James W. Blakeney Jr., 27, of Wellington, was arrested Feb. 22 on an Iroquois County warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.

— No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle accident Feb. 22 north of Watseka. The accident occurred at the intersection of Iroquois County roads 2200 East and 2400 North, when Jeffrey W. Janssen, 49, of Watseka, was traveling north on 2200 East and lost control of his vehicle on the ice-covered road. His vehicle entered the west roadside ditch, where it struck a road sign and then a utility pole, causing more than $1,500 in damage.
