Iroquois County Sheriff's Office police blotter (June 19, 2013)

WATSEKA — The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Office released the following list of recent activity:

— Kendra J. Manahan, 30, and William D. Manahan, 71, both of Onarga, were arrested by Gilman police on June 16 for battery.

— Jo A. Coats, 50, of Manteno, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on June 14 for battery.

— Tiffanie Adkins, 26, of Beaverville, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies on June 14 on a warrant for failure to appear in court on the charge of no valid driver’s license.

— Michael L. Causey, 34, of Gilman, was arrested by Ashkum police on June 13 for burglary and retail theft.

— Alan E. Dilworth, 59, of Milford, was arrested by Milford police on June 12 for a violation of an order of protection.

— Ronald J. Weigand, 30, of Milford, turned himself in at the Iroquois County Jail on June 12. Weigand was wanted for driving with a revoked license. He was sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections for one year.

— Anthony Eldred, 37, of Kankakee, was transferred from the Kankakee County jail to the Iroquois County Jail on June 9. Eldred was wanted on an Iroquois County warrant for failure to appear in court on the charge of theft.

— No injuries were reported in two recent car-versus-deer accidents. The first accident occurred June 7 between Loda and Cissna Park, at the intersection of County Road 1000 East and 50 North, when a deer was struck by a vehicle driven by David A. Maul, 41, of Rankin. The second accident occurred June 16 west of Milford, at the intersection of County Road 1980 East and 1250 North, when a deer was struck by a vehicle driven by Roger D. Brutlag, 60, of Milford. Both vehicles sustained more than $1,500 in damage.
