Tri-Point superintendent resigns

KEMPTON — The Tri-Point School Board accepted the resignation of Superintendent Steve Fink at its Dec. 10 meeting and agreed to employ the Illinois Association of School Boards to conduct a search for his replacement.

In other personnel matters, the board:

— Accepted the resignation of Hannah Wallace as a part-time cook at the high school and of David Moore as a high school junior varsity boys basketball coach.

— Employed Shelly VonQualen as a part-time cook at the high school for 20 hours a week.

— Employed Austin McDowell as a high school boys’ basketball assistant coach for the remainder of the school year.

— Approved Todd Meister as a volunteer high school girls’ basketball assistant coach and Kim Miller as a volunteer high school boys’ basketball assistant coach.
