FFA team advances to state competition

MATTOON — The Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School FFA chapter’s novice parliamentary procedure team won the District IV event on Jan. 30 at Lake Land College in Mattoon to advance to the state competition on June 11 in Springfield.
Team members are Emily Geurts, chairman; Caleb Goodson, secretary; Isaac Tabor; Courtney-Ann Schwing; Devin Bruens and Peyton McClure.
