LODA — The Loda Village Board has scheduled a public hearing for 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, for discussion on a proposal to remove the village from the Loda Sanitary District.
Mayor Carol Arseneau said the village board approved in May to start and investigate the possibility of withdrawing from the Loda Sanitary District. The upcoming public hearing will be a chance for residents to give their views as to whether they want to proceed.
If residents want to proceed, the village plans to place a referendum on the April 2013 election ballot.
