Street work starts Tuesday in Paxton

PAXTON — The city is advising residents that there will be heavy equipment, dust, dirt and noise in areas where curbs and streets are being repaired this week in Paxton.

Starting Tuesday, the city will start repairing curbs in the 300, 400 and 500 blocks of West Orleans Street, the 400 and 500 blocks of West Center Street and the 200 block of South Elm Street.

Then, those streets will be milled, tarred and paved by Iroquois Paving Corp., Watseka. The streets will be blocked off while the work is performed.

Residents in the areas where street and curb is to be completed are asked to have their vehicles off the streets by 6:45 a.m. each day.

Your announcement regarding the street work is helpful for residents to move their vehicles on time and avoid any frustration. Before performing any kind of work such announcement should be made in the area of working so that all the residents get aware of it. I also ask to write my essay for free online because I may not go school due to street work.
