FORD COUNTY — Two temperature records were broken during the hot streak from July 4-7.
On July 4, the reading was 104; on the 5th, 105; on the 6th, 106; and on the 7th, 107.
The 4th reading broke the old mark of 103 set in 1912. The record for July 5 remains at 106 (1936). The old record on the 6th of 105 (1936) went down. The July 7 reading missed the old mark by one degree.
Record highs in July are all in triple figures. Highest reading for any July day is 114 on the 15th in 1936.
