Red flag warning issued for Ford, Iroquois counties

The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for Ford and Iroquois counties, in effect until 7 p.m. Wednesday.

A red flag warning means a combination strong winds, low relative humidity and high temperatures will increase the risk of fires to spread rapidly.

Residents of Ford and Iroquois counties should take extra caution today with any outdoor burning, smoking materials, or any other items that could spark a fire.
