PIPER CITY — John A. “Jack” Green, brother-in-law of a Piper City woman, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013.A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 3, at Westminster Presbyterian Church of Upper St. Clair Township.Mr. Green was born Dec. 16, 1927, at Suttersville, Pa. He married Lilla Jean Wilson on July 5, 1952, at the Piper City United Methodist Church. She survives.

CHICAGO — Carissa Mae Hinz, 21, of Chicago, formerly of Paxton, died Friday, June 14, 2013, in Bridgeport as a result of a hit-and-run accident.Funeral services were pending at Baier Family Funeral Services, Paxton.

PIPER CITY — Robert Lynn Quinn, 65, formerly of Piper City, died Sunday, June 9, 2013, at his residence following a battle with cancer.A celebration of life will be held June 30 in Summershade, Ky., with a cremation burial and service at Skaggs Creek Cemetery in Tompkinsville, Ky., following on July 1.
