Mark Anderson
GIBSON CITY — Mark W. Anderson, 61, of Gibson City, died at 5:29 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
Family funeral services will be held Aug. 8, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Gibson City. The Rev. Wayne Denton officiating. Burial will be in Pontoppidan Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Elliott.
Mr. Anderson was born Feb. 17, 1951, in Champaign, a son of Vernon A. and Phyllis M. (Martensen) Anderson.
Surviving are his brother, David (Susan) Anderson of Morton; two nephews; and two great-nieces.
Mr. Anderson recently accepted Christ into his life and was welcomed with open arms in the church family of the Prairie Baptist Church of Gibson City, where memorial tributes may be made.
