PBL eighth-grade boys basketball defeats Cissna Park 60-12

PAXTON -- The Paxton-Buckley-Loda eighth-grade boys basketball team won 60-12 Tuesday, Nov. 6, over Cissna Park.
 
The Panthers outscored Cissna Park 25-2 in the first quarter as Jeremiah Ager had eight points, Aiden Johnson had six points, Mason Uden had four points and Cole Purvis had two points. 
 
In the second quarter, Chase Ratcliff had five points, Beau Kleinert had three points and Griffin Johnson and Jonathan Craig each had two points as PBL went into halftime leading 37-4.
 
The Panthers extended their lead to 49-6 in the third quarter as Uden had four points and Purvis, Ager, Kayden Snelling and Swanson each had two points. In the fourth quarter, Griffin Johnson had five points while Ephraim Johnson had four points and Craig had two points.
 
Ager finished with a game-high 10 points while Uden had eight points, Griffin Johnson and Aiden Johnson each had seven points, Swanson had six points and Ratcliff had five points. Purvis, Ephraim Johnson and Craig each had four points, Beau Kleinert had three points and Snelling had two points.
