Garret Waterstradt medals in World Cup competition in Portugal

LOULE, PORTUGAL — Paxton native Garret Waterstradt received a gold medal for Team USA on the Double-Mini Team competition in the Loule World Cup, which was held on Sept. 7-8.

Individually, he made it to the finals and received sixth place in the junior elite competition.

In his first time competing at the senior elite level, Waterstradt took fifth place in the tumbling competition.
