SPORTS NOTEBOOK: Bielfeldt officially named GCMS girls' basketball coach

Kyle Bielfeldt is officially the new Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley varsity girls’ basketball coach after the school board approved his appointment at its regular meeting last Thursday.

Bielfeldt had previously served as an assistant coach in the GCMS program. He takes over for Nick Elder, who had been at the helm for two seasons before resigning in May to take an educational administrative position in Champaign.

GCMS went 19-10 last season. Bielfeldt will inherit a team that should return three or so regular contributors from last season’s team.

Is there any list of Mayweather vs Guerrero Tickets in sports notebook? Anyways the coach of the girls basketball team is veteran for the coaching staff and she did well to her old teams.
